One thing that has always mattered to me as a coach is meeting someone where they are. When a client walks in the door no matter what the plan was I believe that being adaptable is essential. It is this belief that has led my coaching business over the years. What started out as personal training, evolved to nutrition, which evolved to coaching the individual. Some days we cover relationships, other days we cover business strategy or whether or not following a gut feeling is the right move. Lifestyle coaching was what was needed more than not. Today, I coach many people is becoming better across the board. One thing that I have learned over the years is that an accountability partner and some unbiased perspective goes a long way. Is it Therapy? I can’t say that but I do believe that it is therapeutic.
One Small Action Podcast
One Small Action was created when I was sitting stagnant and thinking, what is one thing that I could do today to create momentum? The answer was START a Podcast. At first, I simply called it the Mathew Freeman Show but then I realized it needed to be more symbolic of what I wanted to share. One Small Action is a reminder that you are amazing where you are and to grow that action is required. Growing up a child of a single mom and watching her run herself into the ground for my benefit is the foundation of who I work with. I mostly work with parents who are trying to find ways to take care of themselves in the middle of all the hustle. My goal is to simplify what needs to be done in a manner that we can create consistent action. To help cut through all the reading and lay a foundation that each client can trust and follow. That takes a unique skillset of unwiring the GO HARD mentality and wire in a GO SMART system. We add in nutrition foundations and the next thing you know parents are becoming the best versions of themselves. This model for the kids gets the kids ready to go and that is the other area I specialize in. Helping kids gain confidence for sport and life. My training and nutrition is founded on helping [parents and kids get stronger is all aspects. To think I get to do this in person and online is a dream come true.
